Four Tops – Reach Out I’ll Be There.

Four Tops – Reach Out I’ll Be There. 7 inch single. B-side.

The Four Tops were probably Motown’s most recognizable male vocal group thanks to the powerful baritone voice of lead singer Levi Stubbs.

During the 1960s, the Four Tops had a string of hits written by the Motown production team of Holland-Dozier-Holland including I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch), It’s The Same Old Song and Standing In The Shadows Of Love.

Out of all their songs, it was Reach Out I’ll Be There that proved to be the group’s biggest success, topping both the US Billboard and UK singles charts in 1966.

On the B-side is the wonderful but largely forgotten Until You Love Someone, which featured on their third studio album, Four Tops On Top.
